熊本には山鹿灯篭祭りというお祭りがあります。頭の上に紙でできた灯篭をのせ女性が優雅に踊ります。

その姿は幻想的でクライマックスの１０００人総踊りでは文字通り１０００人の女性が灯篭に淡い光を灯しとても幻想的な世界が広がります。いつかこの幻想的で歴史ある祭りをCＧ（コンピューターグラフィックス）で描いてみたいと思っていて、昨年から暖めてまいりました。

作品は、灯篭も女性もすべて３ＤＣＧで制作されています。
